I don't fully understand what you are trying to accomplish. You switch to the next Sprint and try to edit what?

Please note that Tasks cannot be edited while a Story is only in the Product Backlog (but not in the Sprint Backlog), because Tasks only make sense in the context of their Sprint. If a Story is not part of the Sprint, there are not supposed to be Tasks.
