IE9

IE9 does not allow toggling block state and editing editable fields. What exactly can be done depends on whether or not compatibility mode is active.

Original message:
Compatibility in IE9:
In compatible mode of IE9, can not switch management view in the left navigation menu. Not in compatible mode of IE9, can not change user of team. So, if you want to change user of team, you must go compatible mode first, and then switch to normal mode of IE9.

Statement from Kunagi Team

We updated Kunagi to send a header that instructs IE9 to not use the Compatibiliy Mode. You need to make sure that Compatibility Mode is not enforced by the browser (you can find the settings by pressing Alt, then selecting Tools > Compatibility view settings from the menu and unchecking respective check boxes).

We also changed the way blocks are composed to allow IE to handle clicks correctly.

As a matter of fact, even IE8 might work to some degree.

These changes take effect with Kunagi 0.24.

Status

Issue is closed for Release 0.24.3.

Using IE 9.0.8112.16421 with Compatibility Mode disabled, I can edit the Label, however the Description block of a task will not allow text to be entered in Kunagi 0.24.2

While fixing iss977, we have probably fixed the description editor for IE9, too. Since we have no Windows computers, it would be nice, if someone would test it for us on our testing server:

servisto.de/kunagi-latest
login: cartman
password: geheim

Just create an example project and then try to edit a description field (of an issue or a story). Thank you!

Just created a project "description field test for ie" and was able to edit the description field in both a story and an issue in IE 9.0.8112.16421.

Thanks
