Creating new users and SMTP setup

I have 2 problems.

1) I can't setup the SMTP in Kunagi's System Configuration. What am I doing wrong?
Email settings are:

SMTP server:
SMTP port: 465
SMTP user:
SMTP pass: ...
Sender email:
Admin email:

2) Users can't register for new account. After they enter all the stuff for the account, it freezes(it takes like forever to load the confirmation page or something) to go the next page.

Since SMTP configuration works for us and for others, I would say it is a problem with your Google SMTP configuration.

Did you perhaps activate two phase login on Google? Then you have to generate a password from the Google security page.

Please try to use the SMTP configuration with a desktop email client (like Thinderbird) first. When the SMTP configuration works there, it has to work in Kunagi too.
