I'm not sure if the columns of Whiteboard can be customised?

The customization of the Whiteboard is not possible. Generally, we favour ease of use and good defaults over customization.
Can you elaborate on why and how you would like to customize the columns? Maybe I can help you out with some alternative suggestion?
