Migration / Data lost
Hi,
I am facing issue while migrating kunagi from my old server to new server. I have moved kunagi.war and kunagi-data folder from old server and taken backup. While launching kunagi war and replacing the newly created kunagi-data from old. Old backup is not taken by the application. Please help on this.
Is there any other way of taking backup from kunagi web console, and importing kunagi-data from the console after login as default admin user/password.
Statement from Kunagi Team
To move your data from one server to the other, you have to move the kunagi-data directory.
On startup the currently used data directory path is logged into standard output (catalina.out). Make sure you place contents of your old kunagi-data directory there.

You have to stop kunagi when copying into kunagi-data directory. Otherwise it will not be used. You have to delete the old content from there too. The kunagi-data directory is the only place where Kunagi stores its data. By replacing it with one from an other installation it must work. Please try try again and give us feedback here.
If you still have problems you could send me (wi@koczewski.de) your backup and I can check if it works. I will destroy the data afterwards, of course.
