Cannot open Whiteboard after creating Impediment from Task

After selecting "Create Impediment" from a Task's action menu, the view jumps to the Impediment list where a new Impediment is created and expanded for editing. However, clicking "Sprint" in the navigation does not work now (until some other item from the navigation has been selected once).
