Can't create Projekt Homepage

The idea of an autogenerated Projekthomepage is great and we would use this feature.
But Kunagi is incapable of doing this task.

Server service call error
Calling service UpdateProjectHomepage failed.
java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to create directory: http:/<ip>:8080/<proj.folder>

The Structure on filesystem is <tomcatdir>/var/lib/tomcat6/webapps/ROOT/<proj.folder> /html and /velocity

the owner of <proj.folder> and subfolders is tomcat6, rights: 777

I have no idea why it's not working.

Kunagi version: 0.23.1
OS: Ubuntu 10.04.2
Tomcat: 6.0.24

Statement from Kunagi Team

It seams, you have configured a wrong Homepage directory. Open your project as project admin, navigate to Administration -> Project Administration and set your full path to the homepage directory in the Homepage directory field.

The homepage directory usualy is not inside of Kunagis data path. It is an independent directory which is used by your web server (like Apache). Kunagi does not serve the homepage. But perhaps it will in the future: iss878.
